Our Story
CLS Tax was established as an accounting and tax services company in the tri-state area. Our traditional business model is based on individuals and small businesses in America. Keeping track of your books and records is a daunting task. It drains your energy and time. That's why we build this company to help you. From bookkeeping, payroll, and to tax filing, we will provide quality services that exceed the expectations of our esteemed customers. We treat our customers just like families, with respect and faith. We integrate honesty, integrity, and business ethics into our business functioning. It's a familiar story: a tenacious entrepreneur follows their dreams and finally launches their business, only to realize years later, after scaling and expanding, that they don't know the first thing about balancing their books. It's a scenario that Calvin Luo, managing partner at CLS Tax LLC, always sees. He's made his name helping clients, from multi-state business ventures to mom-and-pop shops, navigate the world of money. After graduating from SUNY New Paltz, Calvin sharpened his financial tools as a Certified Public Accountant in New York City, preparing financial statements for companies. He worked at PwC for a while, serving clients in the alternative asset management field. In 2016, Calvin settled at CLS Tax LLC, partnering with two like-minded individual partners. For the first time, it was his chance to steer the ship.
